At APG, being a compassionate steward to our communities is one of our core values. That's why we are always looking for ways to give back and make a positive impact in the world around us.
Recently, our employees had the opportunity to volunteer and make a difference in a number of ways. One of our initiatives was a food drive, where we collected over 200 pounds of non-perishable items and donated them to the Houston Food Bank. The food filled up three boxes and will go a long way in helping those in need in our community.

In addition to our food drive, we also volunteered at the Houston Pets Alive animal shelter. The team spent the day helping to care for the animals and make sure they were well taken care of. It was a rewarding experience for all involved, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to give back in this way.

One of our employees, Christian Cardenas, also participated in the MS-150 bike ride, which raises awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis research. He rode from Houston to College Station, his dedication and hard work helped to make a positive impact on this important cause.

Another way we showed our commitment to being a compassionate steward was by raising money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This organization works to raise awareness about breast cancer and fund research to find a cure. We were proud to contribute to this important cause and help make a difference in the fight against this disease.
