Fluoroelastomer (Viton®) is a type of synthetic rubber. It is known for their excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and oils. They are commonly used in a variety of industrial and automotive applications, such as in fuel and oil systems, as well as in the aerospace and semiconductor industries. Fluoroelastomer o-ring cord has a wide operating temperature range, good compression set resistance and low gas permeability. They also have excellent electrical insulation properties. These properties make them suitable for use in harsh environments and in applications that require a high level of chemical resistance.
