Technical Sheet
Peroxide cured nitrile (Buna-N) O-rings are a type of seal commonly used in industrial and automotive applications. These O-rings are made from a synthetic rubber called nitrile, which is known for its resistance to oils, fuels, and other hydrocarbons. The peroxide curing process makes the Buna-N O-rings more durable and resistant to heat and chemicals than traditional nitrile O-rings. These O-rings are also known for their good compression set resistance and low compression force. They are suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -40 to +250F and have good resistance to ozone and weathering. They are typically used in applications such as oil and gas, automotive, and industrial machinery.
