APG's C-4430 - Aramid Fiber and Fiberglass Sheet with Nitrile Binder is a universal gasket material, suitable for a wide range of applications.

C-4430 is resistant to water and steam at higher temperatures as well as oils, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, moderate organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants, and refrigerants.

The material is manufactured with a combination of aramid fiber and fiberglass reinforced with a nitrile binder.

The pressure/temperature graphs shown are the most current method of determining the suitability of a gasket material in a known environment. However, chemical compatibility must also be considered.

In area 1 the gasket material is suitable using common installment practices subject to chemical compatibility.

In area 2 appropriate measures are necessary for installation of the gasket to ensure maximum performance.
